DNA Analysis software

Does any know of Sequence analysis software that can deconvulute heterozygous diploid sequence downstream of small INDELs. We have a vague recollection of seeing a package which claimed to be able to do this, but have had no luck tracking down anything like this.

Hi Emily

Yes I have seen this software before too - the same as you I can't remember what it is called. I will take a look around and if I can find it I will post it here.

Edit. Found it. The software is called Mutation Surveyor and is sold by softgenetics.

Hey Daniel,

Thanks for that, I managed to track down the exact same company and software shortly after posting. Doesn't appear to be any other packages with the same feature.

Cheers,
Emily

Hi Emily

I think you are right - I have not seen any other software around like it either :)

I have the same problem at Human mtDNA, so i must use using some mini primer sets to solve this problem.
