Why use CounterTrace II?

A question we are often asked is why use CounterTrace II rather than LongTrace? The answer is there is really no good reason to use CounterTrace II except if you have privacy concerns. If you can't upload your traces to our LongTrace server then CounterTrace II is an alternative that you can use totally in-house.

With the release of our free standing LongTrace version (LongTrace:Box) there is even less reason to use CounterTrace II. With LongTrace:Box you get all the benefits of CounterTrace II without the need to use the CounterTrace standard.
