General Information
The MHTP Medical Genomics Facility, established in 1999, provides genomic services to research institutes throughout Australia. The Facility is located at the Monash Health Translation Precinct, a partnership between Southern Health, Prince Henry’s Institute, Monash Institute of Medical Research and Monash University.

The Sanger sequencing service is NATA accredited and complies with ISO 15189:2007. The facility generally provides read lengths of approximately 1000 bases. The facility operates as not-for-profit and includes four core centers providing research expertise, services and reagents. Comprehensive troubleshooting and technical advice is available to all researchers.
