One of the most exciting options for using LongTrace:Box is to use it to increase the throughput of your ABI DNA sequencer. We have developed a run protocol that will let you do 28 runs per day (~51 min total run time) while keeping the read length of the 12 run per day protocol.
If you are thinking of buying a new sequencer because your demand is growing then the LongTrace:Box might be a much cheaper option – it is certainly much cheaper than a new ABI 3730 sequencer.
