General Information
The Molecular Resource Center (MRC), established in 1985, is one of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) Centers of Excellence at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). The MRC facilitate molecular genetics and biochemical studies at the sub-cellular and systems biology levels.

Comments
MRC provide services as well as technical assistance on cost basis. The MRC’s services include sequencing at both the single fragment and whole genome (next generation) levels along with affymetrix microarrays. The center provide accurate sequence up to ~700 bp or greater for Sanger sequencing. This could be much higher if they used the best software available. Prior arrangements must be made with the center for data analysis.
