The DNA Analysis Facility is a Duke University Medical Center service center and one of the shared resources of the Duke Cancer Institute. The Duke University DNA Analysis Facility performs fluorescent DNA sequencing on a fee for service basis.

DNA Template Requirements
- dsPlasmid (3-6 kB) | 0.25 µg
- dsPlasmid (6-10 kB) | 0.25-0.50µg
- dsPlasmid (10-20 kB) | 0.50-1.0µg
- ssDNA | 50% of the dsDNA amount
- PCR fragment | 5-10 ng per 100bp
Primer
- ~30ng (4.8pmoles primer) (18-24mer) Water to a total volume of 12 µl

Other Information
The DNA template and primer should be mixed together according to the recipe. They do not sequence samples that are not premixed. There are different rates for 48+, 96+ and 480+ samples submitted at one time
