General Information
Aim of the Genome Analysis Center (GAC) is to promote research on the genome and genome function based on the implementation of high-throughput (HTP) analyses and the integration of various disciplines of “omics”. The major research focus of the GAC is to investigate processes in the development and progression of common complex diseases in man and the impact of the environment on human health. The GAC offers state-of-the-art technolofies in several platforms including genotyping, DNA sequencing, transcriptomics, and metabolomics. The technologies are universal for the studies in a wide range of species including human, animal models, plants and bacteria.
